North Bengal Explorers' Club is a mountaineering club of North Bengal, affiliated to the Ministry of Defense and Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF). It is a NGO (non-profit organization), registered Under Societies Registration Act 1961.  Ware are approved by the Mountaineering Foundation Ministry of Human Resource Development.

NBEC organizes different types of adventure activities throughout the year, like low-altitude treks, high-altitude treks, expeditions, cycling events, bike tours.

Our work is especially focused on children and youth, to inculcate a sense of adventure, love and respect for the ecology. We believe that this will go a long way to preserve Earth for posterity.
